What can you expect?
Active debate ∙ The main purpose of the day is to initiate and inspiring and informative discussion about the integrated results of the research of hotspots and consortia. Scientific results and their social impacts are presented within the broader context of the research themes.
New perspectives ∙ Reviewers will reflect on the research and add new views from an international and societal perspective. How does your research contribute to the international scientific debate on climate adaptation and to the current strategic policy issues? The hotspot sessions provide insight into the progress from a stakeholder perspective. How do your project results contribute to regional adaptation strategies?
Broaden your view ∙ This day will give a state-of-the-art insight in all research themes. Attending not only your own theme session but also other research theme sessions will broaden your view on climate adaptation research. The presentations and discussions enable you to discover new connections and learn from each other.
Network ∙ The Midterm Assessment 2012 offers a perfect occasion for themes and hotspots to network. It gathers an exclusive combination of the scientific Knowledge for Climate community stakeholders. Moreover, this is a great opportunity to get into contact with some of the leading international scientists from our review panels and research partners.
