Authors who wish to present a paper or poster related to the scientific programme are invited to submit an abstract for a presentation or a poster before 15 March 2014 for one of the eleven scientific themes.

33 Resilient Cities Announced by The Rockefeller Foundation The first group of cities have been selected through the Rockefeller Foundation’s 100 Resilient Cities Centennial Challenge – cities who have demonstrated a dedicated commitment to building their own capacities to prepare for, withstand, and bounce back rapidly from shocks and stresses. Rotterdam is one of them.

Contributing to the Stockholm 2013 World Water Week with seminar Delta Alliance is co-convening the session From Source to Sea – Towards a River to Coast and Seas Connected Future on September 1. Climate Adaptation Business Challenge: First round winners announced After a successful MatchMaking Event in May more than 25 business ideas for new climate adaptation products and services were submitted in the Business Challenge. The jury selected 10 great business ideas on various adaptation topics. These first round winners get the opportunity to develop their idea into successful business plans and will compete for the final grants in the Business Challenge.
