Climate Knowledge Facility

The Climate Knowledge Facility (CKF) has been set up to develop adaptation strategies and to provide support in answering questions from the hotspot teams. The facility generates generic knowledge regarding adaptation strategies and more specific data and information for the benefit of the hotspot teams.

The information generated concerns climate change and its impact, knowledge about how to deal with scientifically quantified uncertainties, strategy cost-benefit analyses and practical advice regarding the organisation of the knowledge dialogue between scientists and stakeholders within the hotspots.

The CKF carries out generic research into issues relevant to all hotspots and disseminates and manages the knowledge developed for the hotspots.

There are two platforms within the CFK: the Model Platform and the Research Platform.
